Jo Ann Tammen

 

Funeral services for Jo Ann Tammen have been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Broken Arrow. Rev. Tim Dreier and Rev. Aaron Kretzschmar will minister. Burial will be in Floral Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home.

Jo Ann Tammen was born February 5, 1947 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma the daughter of Walter Henry and Ruth Catherine (Ostergaard) Tammen. She died at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa on Saturday, May 23, 2009. She was 62 years of age.

Jo Ann was a 1965 graduate of Broken Arrow High School. She received a Bachelors of Science degree in Home Economics in 1969 and later her Masters Degree in Clothing Construction both from Oklahoma State University. Jo Ann lived all of her life in the Broken Arrow area. She spent one year teaching school in Silverton, Colorado. Jo Ann worked for St. Francis hospital as a Medical Transcriptionist. She enjoyed Sewing, Knitting, Reading and Ceramics. Jo Ann was a very Artistic Lady who loved doing thing for others. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
